Thanks!
Thank you so much, I've been trying to find some clear answer on the internet to this question for the last hour, you're the first one do do it yet! Following this logic, the Jensen 35 watt 16ohms should be fine for the job then, right?

Speakers for Peavey Tube Amp/Understanding Ratings
Hi, I have a 70s Peavey "The Classic" 4x10 Tube Amp. I got it for free, with no speakers, and I'm currently replacing a blown cap can on it. The amp is 50W, 4 ohm. What wattage/impedance speakers should I get and how should I wire them. I'm new to tube amps, but I'm really eager to learn all that I ...

Replacing Capacitor Can with different values
I have an old can style capacitor from a 70s Peavey tube amp, and its 500V and 40/40/20/20 µF, would it be problematic to replace it with a 40/20/20/20 µF 500V (http://www.tubesandmore.com/products/C-EC40-20X3-500)
Thanks for the help!

Sorry for taking so long to get back
Sorry for taking so long to get back to this. I've decided to go with individual caps, but I need to know what type of caps to use and how I should go about wiring them. I can't seem to find any good resources on this topic, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Help Finding/Replacing Capacitor Can
The amp has a tube power section and a solid state pre, if info makes any difference in whether or not that CE would work.

Help Finding/Replacing Capacitor Can
Hi, I'm new here, and new to tube amps. I'm currently working on a 71 Peavey Classic 100 (A-Series). Peavey has been kind enough to provide me with schematics for my amp, but I'm still having difficulty replacing a burned up capacitor can. The cap can that I need to find a replacement for or somehow...
