Is any old silicon suitable for the parts we use please (e.g. bathroom / kitchen silicone caulk)?

Ah. It’d be expensive (and a bit daft) to pay import duties again in sending it back to where it came from. It might be worth calling Taylor at Amp Nation and asking - maybe he has an unbranded one you could put the faceplates on. He’s a helpful guy.

Where are you? I have a couple of Amp Nation Wonderland chassis and boards in Europe. I’d probably sell one.

Congratulations on the restoration - it looks fabulous.

I’ve been very happy with my smaller sized combo - also Amp Nation inspired. I made one for a friend too who is happily gigging with his.

I’ve used it directly over wood filler without any problem - it seems to stick on everything.

Try plugging in to the effect return jack - it removes much of the circuit and can help to isolate the problem. Check wiring from there to the output.

The way the 470k resistors are wired, the amp will surely wake up your neighbours when you fire it up. The control grid should not be connected to the heater supply.
