Is any old silicon suitable for the parts we use please (e.g. bathroom / kitchen silicone caulk)?

Re: Looking for wonderland reverb chassis and plates

Ah. It’d be expensive (and a bit daft) to pay import duties again in sending it back to where it came from. It might be worth calling Taylor at Amp Nation and asking - maybe he has an unbranded one you could put the faceplates on. He’s a helpful guy.

Re: Looking for wonderland reverb chassis and plates

Where are you? I have a couple of Amp Nation Wonderland chassis and boards in Europe. I’d probably sell one.

Re: Which combo size?

I’ve been very happy with my smaller sized combo - also Amp Nation inspired. I made one for a friend too who is happily gigging with his.

Re: Tolex glue compatible with water based wood filler? Shellac?

I’ve used it directly over wood filler without any problem - it seems to stick on everything.

Good luck!

desertmouth90 wrote: Sun Jun 15, 2025 9:48 am It appears somewhere in the circuit the signal is getting pushed to ground.

Also appears that SPK2 Output is the main output for some reason… who only knows!?
Can you please post new pics, including a closeup of your output socket wiring?

Thank you

Re: Another SSS #002 build thread (Ryan/Erwin)

When using Martin's bipolar supply, am I correct in understanding this involves changing the Ryan/Erwin layout with: 1. Changing the 220k cathode resistors to 100k 2. Using a 75k, 24k 10k-pot divider network for the bias range I don't have a 75k or 24k, but I think 68k, 22k and 10k-pot should give s...

Re: Dumble 102 ODS testing

Try plugging in to the effect return jack - it removes much of the circuit and can help to isolate the problem. Check wiring from there to the output.

Re: Another SSS #002 build thread (Ryan/Erwin)

The way the 470k resistors are wired, the amp will surely wake up your neighbours when you fire it up. The control grid should not be connected to the heater supply. Thanks Richard, appreciate the note of concern. PottedPlant is right, those are just dry fitted, not soldered yet. I paused to delibe...
