Re: Possible issue with Zwreck?

Hey guys,

I think I put together what your looking for. I could not measure any heater voltages or anode voltages on the rectifier. All voltages were measured relative to chassis ground.

Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks,

Corey

Re: Possible issue with Zwreck?

Thanks for the pic and drawing!! This is probably a dumb question, but where do I measure the A, B, C, D, and E voltages?

Thanks,

Corey

Re: Possible issue with Zwreck?

I am going to have time tonight to check the voltages. I have a couple questions first. I am assuming that I check the voltages with the power on, standby off (play mode), speaker plugged in? If that is good so far, then I clamp the negative lead of my dmm to the chassis and with one hand in my pock...

Thanks for the responses so far! I think there are three main demo's that I go off of; Paisley's, gearmandudes, and Dave Bakers. From what I hear of those, Paisley's and gearmandudes have an awesome ring/thickness to them that I don't hear with mine. I think mine sounds closer to the Dave Baker demo...

Possible issue with Zwreck?

Hello, I bought my Zwreck new about 8 months ago. I think it sounds decent, but there seems to be something missing. It seems to lack some punchiness and sounds kinda thin. I have tried 3 different sets of el84's ( JJ's, TAD's, and the original 7189's), that doesn't seem to make a difference. I have...
