I use a drill to twist the wires but how do you make the runs down to the tube from the "main lead" appear to just come off the...

Even if it is Push Back wire, I sometimes use an Exacto knife!Structo wrote:What's your secret to using the cloth wire?
How do you keep the ends where you cut it from fraying?
Is it the push back type?

You may be interested in the presence circuit is wired wrong. Redo the ground on the circuit so the pot is not grounded. Take the cap and 390ohm to the buss bar. Not the pot. Trust me......
thanks for the information! I'll check this!

What chassis did you use? Size? Do you hear any much change with the LFB switch? Thanks for posting! Y...

Re: My Wreck is alive!
Dave,
thank your for the compliments.
I'm still waiting for a friend of mine to visit me. He's a great guitar player and we will record some clips!
Regards,
Jochen
BTW.. I installed the Visseaux 6V6 and a RFT ECC83 on V1 and I like it very much!

Hi highway  Could you post a list of the parts you used (I mean, where you went 'special')? Very nice build, probably the cleanest I've seen so far. Hi keithrick, Parts, where I went special....hmm... Capacitors from Tube Amp Doctor instead of Orange Drops and KIWAME Resistors if available. Th...

Re: My Wreck is alive!
I have a question though. Looking along the back row, you have some extra additions on this build. Obviously the bias test points and that big blue bias pot...and an impedance switch...but what are those other knobs? Are they some sort of PI matching and heater balance circuits? Thanks to all of yo...
