Interesting...implementing this circuit would cause an increase in current draw? Can you explain? The theory is still a bit beyond me at this point.
And yes, every electrolytic in the amp (and the early model diodes, 1N1697) are being replaced.

You got it exactly. The way this amp is laid out, the power supply is in a chassis at the bottom of the cabinet, and the bias feed resistors are up top with the tubes and the rest of the circuitry. It's a bit crowded, but thre's room to install a pot between each pair of output tubes. I'm wondering ...
