i am using a chassis-mount transformer from radioshack 12VAC.450mA inside my amp that is running hot. Yes, I realize I will need to use one of the tube sockets and remove that part of the circuit. Probably the tremolo.

From more digging I found this. can I just replace my regular fender LTP PI with this? I assume I will have to change the drop string to compensate for voltage? any help is appreciated!

Post Phase Inverter Cathode Follower?
I played a super twin the other day and want to modify my fender to have 12bh7 post phase inverter tube to get that big clean sound. I can't seem to find a layout or schematic for this type of mod. can anyone point me in the right direction?

I found one of these in my cabinet and really want to put it to good use. its a heyboer and the ct is 3.4k, is it safe to use in place of something like a jcm800 ot?

i am building a dlite amp and fired it up with signal but some noise. so i tried to clean up my ground and switch the OT taps to the power tubes, GOT A LOT OF NOISE, high pitch squeals. so when i switched them back the noise was quieter but now i am getting this motor boat sound whenever the master ...
