Choke for a old Peavey hybrid amp?
I've seen all the ads and such for chokes for tube amplifiers...my question is would adding one(if possible) be of much benefit to my amplifier?
My amp is a '79 Peavey Classic VT, 50w 212 combo....solid-state preamp, 2 6L6GC power amp section.

x2....I have a pretty much identical setup to his(50w, 2 6L6's as opposed to his 180W and 6 6L6's), and would love to add some dynamics and heat to the sound of the amp without employing pedals.
