Re: My radio

Look out! The first picture looks a lot like a SATAN antenna we used to use at work.

Re: Oscilloscope Noobie

Go to www.tek.com and download "The xyzs of oscilloscopes".
Its located under support/learning center. I think you have to register to download it, but it I used to give a copy of it to all my new hires.

Re: HP 1201A oscilloscope

Also, I believe the 1201A is a storage scope so make sure the CRT face isn't burned. Any scope is better than no scope, but I'm sure you can find something better. :)

Re: proper value filters for '66 vibrolux reverb

I believe they are the same amps but the AA964 uses Jensen C10Q ?speakers and the AA864 uses Oxford 10L5 speakers. I can't see the manufacturer codes on my speakers because it is obscured by smoke damage (was in a club that caught on fire, thats why I got it for $100 in 1969), but I can see the 10L5...

Re: proper value filters for '66 vibrolux reverb

I have a 1965 Vibrolux Reverb designated AA864.
My research indicated that that it is the same schematic
as an AA964 but uses a different speaker manufacturer.
